Hair Straightners

Well, I managed to break my GHD's today and my husband said I cant replace them with GHD's

I have seen these ones on e bay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ayphotohosting

Has anyone used them at all or know anything about them ? A quick reply would be good because I have to buy some sort of straightners quickly

Hmm, well you will always get people telling you that GHDs are the best, but the guy that I bought mine from said they were very similar in quality to GHDs, they are ceramic with the extended cord, you can achieve the same effects with them (if you know how!). They haven't damaged my hair in any way, I don't get any frizz/static from them and if I straighten my hair in the morning it is still nice and straight well into the evening. Hope this helps, I'm not really much of an expert!

Well I got them, I must say they are very good. I can barely tell the difference between them and my GHD's.

I have a big afro pretty much when I don't do anything. I have a conair and its perfect. Humidity, dry weather whatever, hair stays straight and frizz free. And its only like $30 MSR, but I got mine for like $20.

I've never seen thse before but I like GHs http://www.ghs-direct.co.uk/, mine were cheaper than that too. I'm not sure that they have that floating plate technology though. I really am tempted to go and unwrap one of my crimbo pressies(for a friend)- only a tenner from wilkinsons for a brand name straightener...
