Disgo = Pen drive + MP3 player
Yoyoyo. I'm looking for the 512MB version of these, but everywhere I go is only offering the 128MB and 256MB versions. Basically, a "Disgo" is a USB pen drive with MP3 playback capability. Likewise with normal pen drives, they can carry non-music data as well.
I found out about this type of drive (non-Disco) only on Thursday by browsing the PC World web site. They were offering a 512MB MP3 pen drive for about £70 that can also tune into radio. There was a brand name but I forgot what they were called. I then went to my local PC World that evening to find that they now have Disgos (128MB and 256MB versions). I then checked PC World's web site again this morning and I can no longer find the 512MB non-Disco drives. In this very short space of time, PCW managed to change their stock! I've looked on eBay and found the 128/256 Disgos. There are plenty of non-Disgo drives too, but I have two major gripes about the sellers: 1) The fact that they are never willing to state what brand they are, 2) They add an extortionate £12 for shipping. So bottom line = Do you know any brands of MP3/pen drives other than Disgo? (or alternatively a Disgo in 512MB) |

Tbh I wouldn't waste your money on anything less that 5gig, Zen Micro is MP3 player, radio, organiser and data storage device, also very compact (alot smaller than an Ipod mini).
