York Uni and Snow
How snowy is it in York at the moment?
I'm meant to be going up for an open day at the Uni on Wednesday, but at this rate it looks like I'll be staying at home  After this open day, there is only one more. Do you think they would let me change my date if I explain about us not being able to get there on account of the snowfall? So, if you are in York, and it is really snowy, a) do you think it will last till wednesday, and b) do you reckon we will be able to get there? We'll be driving from Oxfordshire thanks in advance, KHSS x

Well here at York Uni at moment it snowed this morning again however it not too ropey here shouldn't stop you getting here as everywhere properly gritted just wrap up warm

local news reckons the worst days for west and north yorkshire will be tomorrow and thursday.
but the weather doesn't seem to know what the hell it's doing at the moment. one minute there's a blizzard, next minute beaming sun. i'd ring up on the day you're supposed to go, or the day before and ask their advice. i'm sure they'd let you change the date if it's out of your control.

It's pissing me off now is the weather.
I'd advise you to check before you travel, check online or whatever.

well after snowing at 9am this morning it is now very sunny and snow beginning to melt but then again will go cold this evening and prob start it all over again.

Brr!
In the end we didn't go, but I rang up and changed the date to next week. Phew. Snowed all day here. But then it melted, as is so often the way with snow! Thanks though
