Cool fun things to do for free

Next week is the first week in a very long time that my boyfriend and I will have off free, so I want to plan lots of fun, cool things to do with him. The only problem is, I'm down to the last £20 of my loan so I don't have a lot of money to spend.

So, the challenge is, can you think of any really cool free/cheap things I could do for him?

So far I've got -

• Breakfast in bed
• A picnic by the river (there's lots of beautiful rivers and parks up here)
• A treasure hunt (he's a big fan of Amélie, so I was thinking of doing a "Follow the blue arrows, Mr Quincampoix" type of thing, for those of you that know the film)
• Take a long walk to the nearest seaside town and have some silly fun eating ice cream, strolling along the pier, etc

The only problem is that none of things are particularly original, and I really wanted to do something ultra special.

Anybody got any ideas?

Well, erm, yes, that was planned at various points throughout the week, but I don't think he'll want to spend the whole week in bed - he'll want to go out and do something I'd imagine.

I would have thought he would have loved to do that the stuff you've got planned sounds nice, isn't it enough? visit museums? art galleries? they're free right? you could always just stay in, watch a bunch of dvds and snuggle up

I'd have to say sex as well with candles everywhere and perform massages on one another, you'll think of lots of things to do as it gets nearer.

Oddly enough, he gets depressed if we stay in bed all day - he tends to feel we are wasting it. We will probably spend most of the evening doing all that stuff , but I thought it would be nice to take advantage of the pleasant weather we've been having recently.

There aren't many galleries or museums up here which is a shame, and the things there are already we've already visited. I will do a web search though.

Hee hee, oddly enough I tend to give him a lot of massages anyway cos he has a bad back, and the lights have gone in my room, which the maintenance people refuse to fix until after Easter (grrr... ) so it's currently covered in candles, so the chances are we will end up doing this either way...

Outdoor sex - yes, this was another thing I had planned, but wasn't about to post up...
