Mobile payment plans
Does anybody know of a mobile phone tarriff where two people get very low cost (if not free) calls between each other? I remember seeing one advertised about a year ago, but I can't seem to find anything similar now...
My mum wants me to find out what would be the cheapest way of actually talking (not email or msn) to my sister once she's moved into her uni accomodation in two weeks time. She's sharing a flat with four others and the only phone socket is in the kitchen, hence why we're thinking phoning her mobile would be easiest (tho not cheapest!) option. My mum and sis are open to changing their networks - at the minute they're both on Orange PAYG (and their prices have just gone thru the roof!). Any ideas anyone? Thanks! |

I'm on T-Mobile 750 plan and pay £13.99 per month.
For that you can call either a landline or another T-Mobile phone free off peak (after 6pm Weekdays and on weekends) And the other phone can just be a PAYG phone - but this it's limited to 750 minutes per month - which is 12.5 hours and you can send 50 SMS msgs free to. If you use all the minutes it works out at less then 2p per minute. I got mine at Xmas last year - good thing was I got a deal from the Carphone Warehouse - where after 4 months they sent me a cheque for £167.88p - or in other words 12 month rental - so all I ended up paying is £10 for a brand new Nokia 3310 and 12 month rental - after 12 months I'm gonna cancel it and go back to Virgin Mobile cos I hardly make any calls as it is!! |
