decent mobile for bday present
looking for a mobile for other halves birthday. any suggestions for a decent mobile not over £100? looked at that motorola razr, any good?

I got a Sony Erricson K750i for Christmas and it's fab

I've got plenty of baggage and i don't expect anyone to carry it for me. But you can have a good rummage through it if you'd like.

I used to have one, a V3 (it got stolen ). I'd say they're pretty good.

Quality, quite good, number, no idea Mine came with a 64mb stick and a usb cable and software to link it to your comp

It might look nice but technically, it is a shit phone, and Motorola's are horrible to use in my experience.

Motorolas are shit, don't bother. I won't go into all the problems I had with mine but they're just generally crap, even when they work.

I have the new sony ericsson phone and would recommend that. Its got loads of features and is easy to use. Plus you can hold a load of tunes on it and listen to the radio. Good camera too but I'm not really one to take photos on my mobile.

why does everyone hate motorolas?!? i have a razr, which people seem to hate the most, and its never given me problems!

Ditto. I've had 2 Motorolas and have only had a problem with one of them. (the battery's messed up, which was my fault apparantely for not charging it properly)

I'm gonna get a Sony Ericsson K750i when I get paid again. I lost my current staff handset from 3, but as I'm pretty much out of a job it's best I get one ASAP!

I had a razr v3 thing and like my other motorola i had before it it was pretty much wank, i'm personally not a fan but the plus point about it was that it used to fit in your pocket or bag quite nicely because it was so thin, and they are fairly easy to use, but i would never buy a motorlola again.
I've had 3 samsung phones and i've got on so well with all of them, they never bodge up constantly like motorola's seem to.

Yeah i had a k750i for a year or so, cracking phone. not much to look at. really good picture quality though. I have a k800i now though, which has a proper flash and 3.2mpixel

I have a w800i which is basically same as the K750i . Id prefer the K750i though because its a better colour and works so well.

Yep, that was my phone before i upgraded to a K800i, good phone

although the joystick prob you got was annoying, from dust getting caught up in it. Cleaning/blowing out the dust every so often sorted it out though.
