I wouldn't shop there anyway. But this is a still a disgrace.

I mean, wtf? "Cause alarm"? I am never alarmed to see a member of the armed forces, I mean, you'd have to not be aware of the world existing to have any sortof suprise reaction at a squadie.

What a load of tards.

Quite odd really, Al Fayed has always been pretty desperate to improve his shady image hence all the charity work I think. I'd have thought he'd have at least apologised for this kind of gaffe. Inexcusable on part of Harrods. I don't shop there anyway though, even if I had the money to I think I'd rather go to Selfridges.

It's the Daily Mail putting a stupid spin on it, like normal.

Harrods has always had a dress code barring military attire, along with 1001 other things.

What a strange ruling, I presume a lower management type who just didnt really think it through.

Its a horrid shop anyway, I've never been in a food shop where the staff are so unpleasant and rude. OK I wasnt wearing a tux but my money is as good as anyone elses.

I bet he'd let the bomb disposal guys in, in uniform, if there was a bomb in his shop.

What a prick.

But if they turned up with the robot on their day off just to get a few things in the shop I think it might cause a bit of panic.

What's that got to do with the price of fish?

Still, I suppose the HateMail's got what it wanted- a bit of fake righteous indignation against someone who is involved with its most hated rival, the Express.

What's the connection between Al Fayed and the Express? I know the porn baron Richard Desmond owns it, didn't know Al Fayed was involved.

AFAIK they're friends- Al Fayed certainly regularly appears in the pages of the Express with his stories about Diana and Dodi.
