My grandma's birthday was not long ago. I never knew her husband. He died before i was born. She's great. She is far more than generous when it comes to birthdays or holidays. I don't see her much. She lives out of the way of everything. I sent her a card. It was just a generic card. But I feel bad. I want to send her more. I want to call her but I have absoutly nothing to say. She probalby woulnd't even know who I was. She had heart surgery not long ago. I wrote about it. Shes recovered greatly. But shes old, shes sick. I want to do more.

She lives 7 hours drive (on highway) away... I can't afford to take that much time off work. When I go visit my parents, I will, but... I feel bad for it.

My dad gave me her phone number, I don't know what to say. I love her, but I'm not close. I sent her a card. She gives me great christmas money (though she forgot about my birthday ) I know if I send her a check or somthing it won't make any differene... I just feel bad.
